Robert Landsberg, MD, FRCS(C), FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Landsberg Orthopaedics. He has lived in Hendersonville, Tennessee, since 1993. 

Born in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Landsberg enjoys dual citizenship and has been practicing medicine in the United States since 1984. Dr. Landsberg received his Bachelor of Science and medical degree from the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. During his residency, he trained with Dr. Richard J. Hawkins of the world-famous Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado, and Greenville, South Carolina. He also trained with Dr. Peter Fowler of the renowned Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Landsberg boasts expertise in a full range of sports medicine and orthopaedic surgical treatment.

Dr. Landsberg is the winner of the John Charnley Award for his research, "The Effect of the Endoprosthetic Mismatch and Metal and Non-Metal Backed Acetabular Components of 'In Vitro' Pelvic Stress." The John Charnley Award is given each year to one recipient for the best hip research study worldwide in orthopaedic surgery.

He is also the team physician and assistant coach for the Hendersonville High School Ice Hockey team, where he coaches his son, Ben, in inline hockey. In previous years, Dr. Landsberg served as team physician for multiple high school teams in Bowling Green, Kentucky, as well as the treating physician for the dance program at Western Kentucky University. Later, he was the team physician for Beech High School and Station Camp High School. He also coached Hendersonville Inline Hockey for a number of years.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Landsberg enjoys cycling, snow skiing, hockey, windsurfing, and reading and is an active member of the Hendersonville community. Dr. Landsberg served on the Board of Directors for TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center for six years and has been a member of the Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce since 1993. 

The Landsbergs have five children: Shauna, Amanda, Morgan, Reid, and Ben, and a Toy Poodle, Maxwell.
